Also I will give you what lures and techniques I believe will be the most effective for fishing Lake Fork.

I also give you a report on where the repair on the dam is currently at and what they are doing.

  1. Tuesday I fished the back of Little Caney for about 3 hours. Got there about 10 am and fished crank baits going in. I fished a 6th Sense Clout 5.4 in the timber of a cut that runs into the main creek. There were a lot of boats in the back of of the creek. Had one break off and the wind came up up at 1:00 pm. It was a beat down trying to get back up to Popes Landing from the south end of the lake. Bart Armstrong, Mineola

  2. Is this the first season you have fished Fork with the water this low? Anything (other than the obvious) specific you've noticed about how the lake fishes with the water level this low versus normal pool? Thanks Mike.

  3. I was just wondering/thinking the other day about what would happen with Real Time Rods after Louis passing. I think Reel Time makes a really good rod. Had never fished with one till I went out with you. I really like the MicroWave guide train on spinning gear, but never tried on bait casters.
