You Won't Believe This Bass Fishing CHEATER Story

There are many stories about bass fishing cheaters, but this one might be the wildest of them all. A bass boat angler creates a fake kayak fishing scene on his back deck to defraud a kayak fishing tournament!

  1. Appreciate the shout out man! Im happy we are all jumping on board to bring this to light. It shows the closeness of the kayak fishing community has to spread awareness to others. If theres anything you want to talk about on your show, I'd be happy to join in one night. The biggest thing that we all want at this point is justice and for him to be made of an example of what happens when you take advantage of the fishing community.

  2. What confuses me is the guy went and spent $300-500 dollars on a kayak, affixed it to his bass boat to win a tournament that wouldn’t even cover the kayak he had to cut up not to mention the money on fuel for both vehicles. You’d be so in the negative that it literally makes 0 sense.

  3. Whenever possible people will always try to find some angle to cheat the system for their benefit. While it may not have paid much the clout that he could present to potential sponsors for "winning" could amount to more than that tournament. Where ever money is available cheaters will always try to find a way. Ultimately the cheater will just have to be banned from participation altogether. He may try to enter under a different name if so banned.

  4. I fish from a bassboat. However, just an observation I've made fishing when some of these Kayak tournaments come to my local lake. First, no offense to bass fishing Kayakers, but they're a weird bunch, overly nerdy. Secondly, Ive noticed over time the Kayak's get more elaborate, bigger and more outfitted as time goes on. It's sorta like "damn that thing looks like a space ship, or a bassboat." It's seems to me as the kayaks get more modern, more advanced and equipped, I've even seen some with standing platforms, I'm like thats just a small bassboat. So, I'm not into cramped fishing from a small canoe lol, but more power to them, you do you, but it appears to me the future of Kayak bassfishing is the bassboat.

  5. They have a pic of thr boat, prob license plate also. No need for competition to punish them. We can make sure his bass boat sinks next time he takes it out. There are way better ways to get back at people than involving the law. Let the people handle it…. we will make sure he has a flat tire on his trailer and his boat sinks every time he takes it in the water. He has no morals, so why should we. Sometimes you have to meet these people on their level there is no High road with these people!

  6. Just need to end tournament fishing, its like the WNBA nowadays. Bunch of egos without skill, all cheaters and low lifes involved nowadays. The same people that tell you you need 25 lb test to go bass fishing when I caught a 95 lb, 5'7" sturgeon on 8 lb test…..bunch of morons…..No one needs 25lb line for Bass. Thats like squirrel hunting with a .300 Win Mag…..

  7. It's too bad you guys in the fishing world. Don't hold your politicians to the same standards that you do the fishermen. If you crucifire, the Fishman, but let the politicians steal hundreds of billions of dollars every year from you guys.😂😂

  8. Thank you for exposing this grub. It's worse than golf cheats .
We had a serious problem at Bass comps in Australia awhile back . 2 brothers would enter comps and befriend alot of anglers . Each comp they turned up to equipment was going missing, rods reels and electronics . They were caught after may light finger3d comps and banned from entering of being anywhere near a tournament, after they got out of jail

  9. Maybe I'm just getting old ,but sure seems like back in my day men would feel like they cheated themselves doing something like this.
Feels like with the rise of social media people don't care how they get the recognition, they just want to be noticed for something even if it's a fake achievement.
Come on men,get off the computer/phone screen, and fish for yourself, not the 1000 thumbs up from people you don't even know.

  10. I fish purely for recreation. Nothing is more special to me than being alone fishing. Whenever I hear someone was cheating in a tournament it gets me thinking about what goes through their mind and I bet the feelings must be horrible.
