At a recent big bass tournament at Lake Fork, a Texas fisherman that’s competed in many regional events was arrested, after tournament directors noticed a foreign object within the fish after waving a metal detector over his weighed fish.
Texas game wardens performed a necropsy on the fish and found (3) 3/4oz weights in the fish’s stomach, which appeared in new condition, and also the exact same weights in the angler’s boat. What’s your opinion on the situation?

Thats just crazy to me to go that far to risk losing everything, wow! Only imagine how many people got away doing this and beat the guys that actually fished there a$$ off u know. Totally messed up
I thought that post on Facebook from the Texas Game Warden was a fake page, That's insane that someone did that.
I caught a pretty big green sunfish with an EWG hook coming out of its ass but it got stuck on the way out. I helped bro and took it out. I kept him in a 100 gallon extreme tank for a month feeding it minnows and comet goldfish. He got healed up and released in a deep hole of a very remote creek i fish.
I’m still an avid bass angler till today… but there’s some men who participate who are really just boys. Severely mentally and emotionally undeveloped, immature schoolboys. Grown ass men, that think, talk and behave like little boys.
Only time ive ever heard of stuffin weights in fish growin up was by old timers takin em to a taxidermist so it weighs more so they can put that weight on the plaque lmfao like they wont immediately know as soon as they start workin in it 🤣 it’s just dumb

I fished it and was there during the weigh in, They found it by wanding all of the fish when they were passing them to the holding tank. It dinged and the GW was called over. Weights had zero erosion or etching and looked brand new and matched the exact weights that the guy had in his boat. Basically he was caught red handed and arrested.
He couldn't (Weight) to win that tournament.
How does this happen again?!

I find it hard to believe them bass probably already have them because so many people trying to catch them there eating every ones fishing bait and luers and braking there lines and the bass keeping them luers in there stomach positivity is the way to go always

Found fish in a basket last year right before a big tournament. I’m sure they was pissed when they came back, set them babies free. I’d honestly hate to know it took cheating to win, but they guess some people don’t care and they need that clout.

I can look at most fish especially those in the 1-6 pounds and guess the weight within a few ounces.These idiots that pull this 💩
are morons thinking they get away with this with seasoned pros especially when money is involved. I can't imagine trying to pull something like this off the embarrassment alone would not be worth any financial gain. I hate Cheaters,Liars and Thieves and love it when these Basturds get exposed.
