Are you allowed to camp on islands on broken bow lake. My wife and I are wanting to but don't want to make the 4 hour drive and not be able to camp on a island.

Check out heather's choice meals if u want some healthy but good for you dehydrated meals. A touch expensive but so good. Plus made in the USA.
Don't forget to bring a lighter or matches for that portable burner. Used mine so much I have to use a lighter or matches to get flame now.

Went on a canoe trip into the Boundary Waters in No MN in 81 and we ate Mountain House. Only thing that will mess up your plumbing is the 'textured vegetable protein' (read soybean meal). That can cause your system to have some internal adjustment time as it recalibrates. This too will pass..

Not sure if someone else has said this yet but i will give it a shot. With mountain house meals and MRE meals, you don't need a long spoon. Turn the package sideways, then add the water or cut the pouch open. For some reason all of these packages are rectangular, but they want you to cut them open in the most difficult way.
Makes me miss the days of backpacking. For a good snack that's packable, you can always dehydrate your own potatoes and other veggies. Make them nice and salty so you keep yourself hydrated on the hikes.

You gotta try beef stroganoff mountain house it’s arguably one of the best they have. I would also look into mixed propane/ butane gas and a jet boil or a knock off they are much lighter and they are more efficient, plus you can screw that directly to the tank so you don’t burn whatever you are setting your burner on 😅😅 love the videos though man just keep on danglin!
