You said you keep the colors simple. Will a few strands of orange or red help in the skirt?
Now that I have access to boat I'm gunna have to try out throwing a jig out deep. I have one tied on all year round for fishing shallow anyway. Those hybrid jigs do everything well. Swimem, pitchem, dragem, strokem and anything else u can think of.

Love your vids! have you ever used the 3/4 oz. hybrid jig for punching lighter weed cover? with that style jig head it looks like it would be good for deep and punching.
