The best moment of the year, voted by Bassmaster Elite Series pros, was Brandon Cobb Fishing’s Day 3 at Lake Fork where he weighed 37 pounds, 15 ounces! Cobb caught an 11-1, 8-13, 8-8, 5-5 and a 4-4. What an incredible day, especially during tournament action!

I have lucked into some similar days on Fork with 3 guys fishing in one boat and everyone hooking up. Dead sticking flukes and fries was always our thing. After 10 years of fishing that lake we have all experienced some major excitement and more ZERO fish days than we can count!! It’s hit and miss but you never know what that thumps going to be!!

I have watched alot of Big Bass being caught on YouTube! But , I think this is the best Hook set and catch. I have ever seen. Practice, Practice and more Practice. A True Professional! Great Job. I witnessed my father catch big bass. 8, 9 and 10 pounders back in the 70's. He never hoarsed a big bass. But kept the heat on. By keeping the rod tip down. So the hog couldn't jump and throw the lure. Mann's 7 inch purple worm Texas rigged. His go to bait! R.I.P. HEB.
