An officer with Texas Parks and Wildlife was patrolling Lake Fork when he contacted a family fishing along the shoreline.

  1. It's weird to me to hear crappie pronounced like "croppie." I don't fish but my grandfather and father did and I've never heard that. I've also heard other fishermen on this channel say "crappie." Is that just regional?

  2. If you watch them shows why don't you teach your children to follow the game laws it's important to know what you can and can't keep when you go fishing. Even if you don't keep fish some fish you are not allowed to fish for because they're not in season you have to know it's not hard to figure out

  3. Funny, I've been finishing for decades and my first thought was wtf is a slot fish? So i look up the regs, and we don't have statewide slot regs. It's site specific and being as how i only fish farm ponds it makes sense given said ponds don't have slot regs.

  4. Clear violation.. But if They're just fishing for their camping dinner. I ain't got a problem with that. Of course they had enough food with the crappies and catfish.

  5. I think these people set the standard for honest and accepting of accountability and the officer cutting them a break was nice although a warning probably would have sufficed considering how many illegals are allowed to lie/obstruct and still get away with murder.

  6. DNR needs to leave the bath tournaments alone and do their jobs the correct and right way. Instead of going and attacking bass tournaments for no reason at all, do youn Know. People need to be fired from their jobs if they're gonna mess with the bass tournaments
