No matter how long you have been fishing, whenever you get the chance to go fish a pond or fish from the bank…do it! Bank fishing is just so much fun, but with that being said, there are 3 lures that I have with me every time I go bank fishing and in this video I talk about this and how to use them to catch bass!

BassFishingHQ is dedicated to teaching people how to catch more and bigger bass. I will go over different bass fishing tips & techniques that will put more fish in the boat or on the shore. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned tournament angler, my goal is to help you catch more bass.

  1. In my water where I love to fish there a grass that grows its think an horrible on any open hook bait so I feel I'm limited to frogs an texas rigs.. which i love mind you..any otherr options you could recommend?

  2. 40-50# braid? 😂 This dude is a complete joke.

I king salmon fish 15-30 pounders on Lake Michigan, and everyone runs 20# braid.

And your clothing might be sewn in the USA, but it’s still low quality Chinese fabric. Yours feel like wearing a garbage bag, whereas other brands feel comfortable and soft, even when wet.

  3. I remember the largest largemouth base ive ever caught, i was around 12-13 years old. Fishing a small pond in the forest, old pond that never got fished. Peddled my BMX bike for miles to get to it. Threw on a 6" purple Meps worm and tossed in by some weeds. BAM! Instantly hooked up, reel was screaming for help, my little hands had a death grip on my rod, blood pumping, hootin and hollarin the whole time. Finally wore it out and got it to shore and it was the largest bass i'd ever seen, soo big i was afraid to pick it up at first. I just stood there looking at it in amazement thinking, what now? Both my fists would have easily fit in its mouth at the same time. SHE was full of eggs, fat and long. And I had nobody there to share it with, of course.

  4. Do what you want. The ad did something to me so💁🏻‍♀️ there’s more than one way to skin a cat. Love your content. Packed with great info 👊🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

  5. Just get quality hook and texas rig whatever plastic worms or whatever you have excess of. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT COLOR!!!! If you fish that piece of water 4 days a week, color will matter one day in a year and a half.

  6. 50 lb braid? For ponds? I guess if you feel the need to be able to pull trees over if you get snagged…. 10 lb braid will catch any bass that ever lived, and will be enough to get you out of most snags. Some would say you should lose a few baits to snags, helps to teach improved casting skills…
