Went down to Lake Fork chasing giants and it turned into a full-on adventure. The weather didn’t make it easy—wind, pressure swings, and tough conditions had the bite locked down—but that’s part of the game.
Still managed to grind it out and get on some fish. Had a few absolute giants on that didn’t make it to the boat… the kind that keep you up at night replaying the moment. But every miss, every adjustment, every long stretch without a bite taught me something new about Fork.
That’s the beauty of it—fun, frustration, lessons, and memories all wrapped into one trip. I left with more knowledge, more respect for that lake, and unfinished business with those giants.
