WEATHER UPDATE FOR MEGA BASS — STRAIGHT FROM THE SOURCE

WEATHER UPDATE FOR MEGA BASS — STRAIGHT FROM THE SOURCE
We’ve been getting a lot of calls about the weather for this Sunday at Lake Fork, so we went straight to Tournament Director Jeff Welch to get the facts.
Bottom line: Mega Bass is 100% ON. No changes. No reschedule.
After reviewing the latest weather models, things have shifted in our favor. While areas west of us may see more activity, Lake Fork is lining up for a solid day:
• Slight chance of light rain early
• Breezy conditions
• Main storms expected to stay west and move in after weigh-in
In other words — we’re fishing.
There have been rumors floating around online about changes to the event. Those are not true. The tournament is happening Sunday, April 12 exactly as scheduled.
What to know:
• Registration opens Friday night
• Registration available all day Saturday
• You can still register Sunday morning
And don’t forget what’s on the line:
• $25,000 CASH paid out EVERY SINGLE HOUR
• $15,000 guaranteed for 1st place each hour
• 15 places paid every hour — regardless of entries
• Skeeter ZX200 for overall biggest bass
• Kubota Sidekick for biggest under
If you’ve been on the fence because of the weather — this is your answer.
We’ll see you at Lake Fork.
