1) It’s close to my house and
2) It’s inaccessible to motorized boats
It’s difficult to find areas to fish during the summer that are not overrun by jet skis, wake boats, and party barges, so I was optimistic that this secluded stretch of the South Fork River, situated between two dams which restrict motorized travel from the remainder of Lake Wylie, would fit the bill nicely. As I stated on your McAdenville South Fork video…the water of the South Fork is always so muddy and dirty, I'm not surprised there are little to no bass in that tributary.

I have never understood the south fork only luck I have ever had is mainly with a spinner or a buzz bait and normally early morning.
Your video captured the first bass I have ever seen out of the South Fork, Cramerton area. That is my favorite section to kayak with the grandkids. Thanks for making a second trip on the river.

I have fished from those piers several times now and cannot seem to figure out the pattern. I know there have to be a bunch of nice fish in there but I can't catch them. It's very weird.

What lake would you say is your favorite to fish? I moved up to Todd NC about 3 years ago and I have to say these highland reservoirs up here are way tougher to fish than back in Texas. I sold my boat and got a fishing kayak before we moved and kind of glad I did. I can’t say I’ve “killed it” yet on any fishery yet. I wonder if they properly manage these lakes around here?
Man i have always wanted to fish up in there and toward the bridge on 74, but cant get my tracker in there. I need a kayak. I think they are in there don't give up on it.
