Bass Fishing Lady Bird Lake Austin, TX | 25 lbs Bag and 7lb 10oz PB

Bass fishing on Town Lake (Lady Bird Lake) in Austin, Texas turned into one of my best days yet. I threw a 10-inch worm almost the entire day, starting with a Zoom Ol’ Monster and later switched to a Lake Fork worm. Both got crushed.

By the end of the trip, my five best bass went 25 pounds 2 ounces, and I caught my new personal best weighing 7 pounds 10 ounces. The big one smoked the Lake Fork worm and put up an awesome fight.

If you’ve ever struggled catching bass on Town Lake, slow down and toss a big old worm.
