  1. I was the morning angler with Mike on this day. I have to say it was one of the most enjoyable times I have ever had fishing with someone for the first time. That coupled with his strong christian faith I knew I had made the right choice in guides. We did not fish a whole lot as he wanted to show me as many options for the tournament per my request. I still had my chance by hooking a biggun which I failed to land. I took what he showed me and certainly it was a bitter sweet tournament. I landed 2 unders that were a perfect 15 3/4" but both were skinny and weighed 1.71 and 1.73 which I did not weigh in. On Sunday afternoon I hooked what I believe to be was an over. It was in shallow water on the underspin and after the fish surfaced twice with headshakes( He could not get out of the water) he turned at the boat and surged bending my hook out and pulled off. All I wanted was a good tournament and Mike and God gave me an opportunity. I felt blessed to have had that and look forward to travelling there again next year.

  2. Another great video! I have learned more about fishing large structure lakes watching your videos than any others. You are an awesome teacher. Please expound on finding and fishing shell beds and brush piles when you can. Keep up the great teaching. It is much appreciated!
