Catch more Crappie with this jig (East Fork Lake)



How to catch spawning Crappie on standing timber and laydowns in the spring. Today we head out to Harsha Lake also known as East Fork Lake in southeastern Ohio, to locate and catch some fish to eat (catch and cook) but I have never fished this lake so i also show you what I look for when crappie fishing a new body of water and the bait and gear you would need to catch White Crappie.

  1. Lmao 10:19 all of east fork dam is snag central.

    If you want to really challenge yourself try bank fishing from the boat launch area where you were at the start of the video. I have met many an angler who packed it in early due to the heinous snags that lie just beneath the water there.

    I personally bottom fish for catfish so I just come to expect the occasional snag or so.
