Try this in Texas when it's 105 degrees ….nope 😂
can someone tell me what hook he is using for the dropshot robo worm?
Great information, thanks
Im three years too late
This is somewhat limited because most of us don't fish ponds, we fish lakes, so the video would've been more meaningful if you bank fished a lake, I guarantee you'd have had totally different results with the same lures
Thank you
Still got the plastic/bar code on the rod? Did you borrow this rig from someone?! Come on dude… 😂
Great stuff. Thanks man🦾
Because we're not rich like you. Thats why we bank fish
as someone who has fished east coast fresh water primarily, is there a particular brand of lures you use? , with bass fishing I see a lot of destroyed worms within only a few cast .
Realy enjoy your show, Just started fishing and you have helped alot. Thank you!!!
I’m just like your videos
Great information and looking forward to trying some of your ideas (and lures) out. Thanks for taking the time to produce this vid, loved it!
I would love to have one of those hats for my 11 year old Son and I! Keep those great tips coming!!!
man i love how that shot looked at the start of your video. I got to go home to PA last summer and i went fishing alone in the morning at one of my grandfather's ponds. It was one of those mornings just like in your video but with a soft, gentle rain. I hooked up on so many nice bass that morning too! a Day ill remember for a long long time.
Just watched it again. Stunning video. Tyler, i have a friend that thinks some dams are better in the morning and others late afternoon. What is your take on this?
I dig your content. I'm getting back into bass fishing again after a several year layoff. Bank fishing is my jam. I also just found my 40 year old innertube fishing float and brought it out of retirement!
What time is best during the summer
Beginner here, what does he mean by "peg"? Can someone elaborate please and thanks…
Wow them are some really BIG bass not
I am a bank fisherman and appreciate advice about bank fishing.
Thanks for the tips, more bank fishing content would be awesome!!!
I’ve been fishing from bank for over 50 years and have pretty well, overall. One of my go-to baits from back in the day was the split shot worm on a spinning rod. It used to be very popular with bank anglers. I think the drop shot has kind of replaced it in some ways but it still works. I would use a 6” plastic worm, nothing fancy, and then started to favor a 4” ribbed worm in a lot of places. This worked well on largemouth and smallmouth. I had another favorite bait that would tear them up in the spring and that was a Beetle Spin in white. I moved away from those baits in the last 25-30 years but will still tie one on if the situation calls for it.
One of the advantages that a bank angler enjoys is the ability to get to some key, and often secret, honey-holes that could never be discovered or accessed by boat. It also will often force the angler to fish areas more thoroughly, really picking it apart.
I may still get a bass boat before I’m done, but it’s not always a bad thing to fish without one.
I enjoy your videos and I’m always learning!
I'm an old man I've been fishing 60 years, there is no way I bank fish summer without a carolina rig. its my underwater cover finder.
i always go to new ponds and lakes.
countdown 1001 1002 to 1003 1004 is 2 ft for every count on a 1 oz Carolina weight. I find drop-offs Rocky bottom Rock piles you name it I find it. fast. then you can change to whatever rig or lower you want but finding the cover and reaching the cover from shore on smaller bodies of water where they're not putting boats in often times lots of Warren paths of other wranglers a Carolina rig allows you to reach further from the bank and catch fish offshore that other shoreline anglers can't reach
I do want to win the real and my name is Michael baker
Awesome video. Thank you. Blessings.
