Extensive knowledge in this one! Awesome video as always ! #rippinlipinc #subscribe
There used to be many dairy farms around Fork and today not so many. The decline in the number of dairy farms corresponds to the decline of hydrilla and general vegetation. Then add in all the development around the lake and that equates to the lack of vegetation. There are bad nutrients that can also get into a lake as well that was not discussed. For an example fishing around the Lands End golf course used to be good but not so much these days. I think that has to do with the herbicide/pesticide run off. Same goes for the housing developments.
Here to support. Will definitely come back for the next video. When is it coming out? Thumbs up 👍
Sure wish they could implant new Hydrilla to help
Hey you are reaching far away too! I’m in McAllen Tx, been watching your stuff for months. lookin to move my family to Greenville, if i can find a good job. Hopefully i can fish Lake Fork 🙏🏼
Great information. Also love that Tribble on your shirt.
Isn’t pinkston #7 on the top ten heaviest bass in Texas?
Great program Mr. Lawson, very good!!! I watched the videos with Todd Driscoll and a very interesting fact was that they found some transmitters out in he woods , one about a mile away and one in an EAGLE's nest in the top of a tree. This facinated me, of course some animal caught the fish and carried it off to dine. This was when all of the fish died the first round of implants. So very amazing!!!
Good stuff Billy! Thanks for sharing interesting info.
Oxygen depletion will cause that red rash on bass also. My low pond filled and flooded into high pasture grass and the dead grass and a drop in temp turned my pond over killing all my biggest bass with my biggest pushing 9 lbs. My smaller bass survived and they had that rash all over.
