Just FYI, this past spring I had a huge bait ball washed up in a small pocket. I threw everything in the box, Rattle Trap, crankbait, swim jig, hair jig, jerk bait, spoon, little george and a fluke. I got not one bite. I could see the bass busting the shad under water with my Livescope. This went on for over an hour. Finally I sit down in the boat with exhausted ideas. I then picked up a Carolina Rig with a Lizard and started catching Bass. The point is the most unlikely lure worked best.
