If you gonna go that far try the 2 mile at Tawok, start early on the east side and work your way west, no catfish to deal with and you don't have to keep everything. Those GWs are hard up in December watching from those crows nest seeing if anyone tosses back crappie. One day I caught 25 fish in 30 minutes biggest was 10.5 and only had 4 four of them, the look on my wifes face was like "WTF you bring home those dinks for?" I told her you get a ticket for tossing them back. That was my last time there.
