Trey McKinney's adjustment arsenal for historic Lake Fork Win

In this #TackleTipTuesday, Lake Fork Champion Trey McKinney gives his lure arsenal as he adjusted daily to the changing fish for the second stop of the Elite Series season. Early in the event he used a jerkbait and jig head minnow combo, but as the weather warm and conditions changed, his baits adapted. Culminating on the final day were multiple baits contributed to his 130-15 tournament weight.

  3. Must not be sponsored by mega bass since he didn’t show it. He even broke one off and then hinted the fish for an hour and caught it again…. While it had 3 trebles in it (my pin is the guys were scooping these and hoping for a snag, not always but some were definitely caught that way). Btw, everyone was throwing the vision 110 and the +1.

Also, why do these pros hide the winning baits like a true fisherman doesn’t see what they are using? The dude showed a jig and I never saw him catch a fish on a jig. I did see him throwing the wacky rig 95% jerkbait fishing and didn’t even show it 🤔
