  1. I'm so sorry I just seen this . What a great man and a legend in my eyes he was. I fished with him a few years ago and can remember every detail and conversation we had that's the kind of impact he had on me . My heart sank when I seen this . He will be truly missed . God bless Mark's family my prayers go out to everyone .

  2. Pack had a “pet” gray heron, he called him Freddy… he told me when Freddy lands on that stump we’ll start catching. I swear about 20 minutes later that bird landed on the stump and we both hooked up on big bass. Then pack caught a sandbass on a spoon for him, hit it over the head to knock it out and threw it on the top of the water. That bird swooped down right next to us and ate the sandbass, he said see, Freddy the freeloader!, when he shows up they start bitin every time!

That guy was amazing like a magician he could put on a show..

  3. I met Mark at a couple of his seminars at Lake Fork Tackle years ago – he was just a great friendly guy. I don't believe he ever met a stranger! It breaks my heart that we lost him. Prayers go out to his wife and family..

  4. Pack taught me so much and was good friend . Learn so much from him on trips and he always answer my calls and text. At first it hard to listen but needed to hear that laugh. I so glad I got the time to fish with and hangout with him off the water.

  5. Marc taught me how to truly drop shot fish.every time I drop shot fish I will think of you Bud!! Marc took pride and teaching the ways of being an angler RIP

    Rest In Peace Mark. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

  8. When I was fishing with him, he had me dragging a Carolina rig in one of his spots. I remember I thought I was hung up, ended up breaking off. He looked at me and asked, you break off? Yeah I did, hung up on something. He doesn’t miss a beat, says, bub you weren’t hung up, did you see your rod tip? It was moving, you probably had a 10+ on there. Calm as could be, and one hell of a lesson!

  9. Mark Pack taught me how to really read a lowrance and distinguish largemouth from everything else on it. Fishing with him was one of the best experiences I ever had fishing.
