  1. Just a little note on Chris Lane about the kind of person he is: after the Sabine River Elite Tourney in Orange, Texas he was being interviewed after receiving the Trophy and Check, He was asked where he was going after this tourney. He said they had been in this area for a week and they enjoyed the area and people so much that they were going to stay over another week before going home. I am sure others have done the same thing before but he was the first I knew of. I became a huge fan because of these actions!!! I believe Chris Lane is a great person and was trying to let the people know they were appreciated. My wife met him at the Conroe Clasic at the big Showcase in Houston and we were able to thank him for what he and his family had done.

  2. I think that the motive may be money. Except that it likely goes much farther than just a spraying contract. But that part really doesn't matter. What matters is stopping it asap. Eradication doesn't need to be so aggressive. When there is a bermuda grass matt in the tomato bed, we don't spray weed killer on it. Same way with grasses in the lake. It takes longer. Requires more persistence. But better eradication methods exist or can be developed easily with little imagination. Step 1 should be approaching TPWD Austin by phone and sharing your concerns. They are not as unapproachable as one might imagine. I did a little business with the Austin offices over 15 yrs ago and found them to be truly good people. You are in position to discuss the matter with them in their language. Give them a call in Austin then also follow this process (https://tpwd.texas.gov/business/feedback/complaints/ )
and call the local fish farm. Region 3 Fisheries 11810 F.M 848 Tyler,TX 75707 (903)566-1615 and Biologist Marcos DeJesus Director Region 2 (East) 11810 FM 848 Tyler, Texas 75707 (903) 566-1615 marcos.dejesus@tpwd.texas.gov TPWD is very regimented in their processes. Usually Gov procedures. Your past experiences will help to easily get the ball rolling. Think like USMC days. TPWD works similarly. This chart lays out their chain of command. ( https://tpwd.texas.gov/about/administration-divisions/organizational-chart ) Call Carl Smith's office and start a rapport with them. Make notes of each person whom you speak with. https://tpwd.texas.gov/about/administration-divisions/executive-office/executive-director Director Carter Smith Executive Director
    (512) 389-4802 (512) 389-4814 Fax Then work down from Carl's office. It will be easier to move downhill rather than up.

  4. You could use a better side kick a/o tech guy; this off the rails stuff and rambling rants really takes away from the quality tips & in-depth instruction we’ve come to appreciate from this channel. Hope you get well and come back soon, so we don’t have to listen to your clone ramble on and get distracted by text message every five minutes.

  5. You preaching to the quire bout grass ..dirty politicians..our insurance companies dictate how many deer can be harvested here ..outrageous # ..points want work out cause too many will be fishing them ..want hold out for 3 days
