I make the trip a few times every year to fish Fork during the spawn… I made the mistake of jumping in on a local derby while I was there one year and swore I'll never do it again. Being a slot lake I was passing over 3 to 8lb bass to catch 15 inchers to fill my limit of unders and you can only weigh in 1 over. That said if you're going just to fun fish this lake is freakin awesome. I've caught a couple over 10 and 1 over 11 in that last 5 years. Incredible fishery!!!

I have not seen catch and release major tournaments. Love this. I used to hate weight-in. I know fish and can tell you this is so much better. Sure it takes away from the stage presentation but any bass fisherman would understand.
