This was my coldest day the I’ve ever gone bass fishing on! I know northern guys, but I live in Texas so… It was very tough as to be expected in these extreme post frontal conditions but we managed to boat a couple good ones anyway! Thanks for watching and I hope y’all enjoy!

I fished Caddo Lake that day as well. I learned a valuable lesson that morning. I left the lake the day before and it was below freezing. So the next morning it was 18 degrees and I learned not to unhook the front of the boat till its in the water. The running boards were basically popsicles and my boat slid off when my buddy pulled up to re-adjust to the boat ramp and wham…I couldn't believe it. I have an X19 express and thank god it didn't hurt much other than braking my transducer and thank god I had my motor trimmed up all the way. We was able to winch it back on the trailer.

I was out on Fayette the same day, very cold. I fish braid so it was hard to cast because the line was freezing up. I didn't even think about that till it was too late. Good stuff. Oh yeah, Will Ferrell movies are great!

Have to agree with ur buddy….I don't get the Will Ferrell fascination…kind of funny in Wedding Crashers but thumbs down to Will! Thumbs up to yall fishing in that weather!
