Mike when ire’s tough like this I always slow down with a black blue jig with a blue ribbon worm tale 1/2 ounce fished in the bends of creeks close to shallow water.

Great rundown brother. Tight lines
struck out again yesterday, tried white magic swim shad on a big willow leaf spinner in 60 degree water and grass back by Axton's, threw shallow cranks there, tried shellbeds at the mouth of birch, hit the trees around the island in front of birch, carolina rig with black n blue savage 4d craw, shallow cranks, tried deep with crystal/white fluke in the main creekbed in the trees, kinda windy so hard to keep a spot with no spot lock, kept getting snagged in the trees with the drift, spent more time trying to hold position than fishing, finally anchored up and went vertical. Nada. Ugh!
Love the video man! The reason they don’t dump all at once is probably because it would flood roads bad like 1804 in minneola off the Sabin where I live 😂

I am up here in South Dakota and we still have ice but it is going fast now and we will be chasing bass in a month or less. Love the channel, and the videos you do with Billy Lawson!
But I have a question for you, can you do a video about the 2 oz. jig that Mark Pack said that he fished? I would love to see the jig and the baits he was using on it!!!
Mike, i'd like to know if you fish the smaller lakes in the area ( winnsboro, quitman, holbrook, hawkins… ) and if you do, do you plan to report on them as well ? Thanks.
Thursday we caught 7 bass, 6 pounder the biggest. 54 to 58 degrees in the shallows. Lots of big white bass!.
