We have been getting a lot of rainy topwater fishing weather but this week changed things up. Still cool in the morning but full sun no clouds making for a short topwater bite in the morning. Streamer fishing was still ok but put in your casts. Once it got slower i went to sight fishing Bowfin. They have been out and on the prowl especially with the warmer weather. After a refusal on the crawfish i switched and figured out they wanted a small shad pattern and started sticking em.
This is how those tough high pressure days go but there always something to do. Even shots at big carp or big bluegill depending on what youre into.
