John 6:16-21
Tom shares with us how after Jesus fed the 5,000, he told the disciples to get in their boat and travel to Capernaum. They had gotten far out on the sea and it was now dark and Jesus had not yet come to them, when a storm came. They kept rowing for several miles, when they saw Jesus walking on the water, they were scared. Jesus said, “It is I, do not be afraid.” (John 6:20) Then they willingly received him into their boat, and immediately they were at the land on the other side.
Tom’s message tells us how we should in our daily lives do what Jesus asks of us, Trust, and invite him into our struggles and scary times, and he will be with us through it all along and get us to where he wants us to go.
