Lake Fork Report June 24, 2025
Tough conditions:
High pressure, no wind, hot 94 and 95% humidity.
We worked hard for these bites today.
Bass in the morning were in 6-9’ of water. @Tammy-is-here caught hers on a weightless bruko worm.
I went all day without a bite finally found the bass in 22’ of water on main lake points south part of the lake. I only got 3 bites all day.. missed a small one pounder on a deep dive crankbait caught the other 2.
Big bass was caught on a black and blue 3/4oz punch bait with a @hagsbaits black and blue craw.
Find trees in 15-20’ of water off main lake points and slowly drag that bait near them. Slow is the key. Don’t pop it up like in spring. Slow crawl it.
In these tough conditions you may not get many bites…but on Fork you can get a big bite! Big baits for summer.

Kistler helium 7’ 3” Heavy swimbait rod
50lb power pro braid
Diawa Tatula 8.1 100xs
3/4oz pepper punch jig black and blue
Hags creature bait black and blue
