Very good info! Year's ago I was a subscriber to a Texas fishing Magazine "The Honey Hole" A guy by the name of John Hope I think was his name was doing simular tracking on large bass I think on lake fork. That was always the first article I would look for when my magazine would come in.
If the bass are really homebodies spending their lives in a small area then the mlf has the way to hold a tournament. We need to release the bass immediately back to their homes. We need an app that shows length and weight with a photo. Submit the stats to the judges. And release the bass back to his environment A little trust is involved. But it would increase survival rates and keep the fisheries going strong.
I think the fish has learn that not all worms are created equal😊 And swim like hell if you see one that wears a "Trokar hook"as a belly😜🤓

Did they tend to move toward a certain direction N,E,S,W after our cold spell? Swimming against the wind or with it? I would think they'd head N to get out of the coldest currents.
