I looked on Navionics and found a couple nice ledges that I felt I could find some good schools on, and some employee at Cabela&#8217;s told me that there were some big bass up north in the hydrilla. When I went out there my electronics weren&#8217;t working (later found out the outlet went out in my garage and didn&#8217;t charge my battery) so I wasn&#8217;t able to fish deep like I wanted. So at that point I headed north and was able to catch two fish before I left. Tournament day I wasn&#8217;t sure if I should head up there but finally decided to do it. I struggled very badly and allowed my lack of success to affect my attitude.
