Fishing for bass in offshore and in deep water is sometimes overlooked because it can be difficult to cast and stay on fish in the wind and waves, but it&#8217;s a fun challenge.  I like the Hobie mirage drive or other Kayaks that allow you to peddle while keeping your hands on a rod.  I&#8217;ve learned that using the peddle system like a trolling motor on a bass boat can be very effective in getting your lure where you want it.  One of my favorite techniques for fishing offshore is a carolina rig.
