It wasn&#8217;t until my junior year that big collegiate tournaments were being organized. After recovering from my back injury, I went and played at a local junior college in Weatherford Texas where I attempted to earn a scholarship for baseball. After a year, I decided to leave baseball and focus totally on fishing and attended Texas A&#038;M University in College Station Texas where I went on to become a national collegiate bass fishing champion.
