This week I&#8217;m bass fishing at the site of the 2017 Bassmaster Classic on Lake Conroe. The tournament kicks on this week and the pros have been pre fishing the lake as well. I&#8217;m joined by buddies at Anglr Labs to track data on about the lake and all the fish that are being caught this week. This lake always gives me a hard time, and today was no exception. The shad spawning in the morning allowed us to get a few bites around some rocks early, but when the sun came out we switched up to fishing docks. Fishing the docks, we got some bites but with little success getting them into the boat. After hours of fishing and only a few bass, we went into the back of a small creek and found a good group of bass staging up to spawn. The hard bottom was helping to hold the fish and we ended up catching a few good largemouth around 4lbs. In the bassmaster classic it is going to take some 6 and 7 lb bass in the boat every day to be in contention to win this tournament.
