I had just caught an 8lb bass and thought we had a great night of fishing and that was the kicker fish&#8230;but little did I know on the way out of the cove, I would keep fishing and land this giant. Throwing a custom punch bait. black and blue, with a creature bait trailer (check out the 8lber video where I show the lure). This big momma nailed the bait while I flipped it out in the creek channel&#8230;She fought really hard and probably jumped on the surface 5-6 times violently&#8230;most bass give up 1-2 times&#8230;not this one she was angry&#8230;Finally got her in and lipped and what a relief she didn&#8217;t spit the EWG hook.<br \/>\nAn even better experience being able to catch it with my Dad. We both have been on the hunt for so long. So happy I can finally say I caught one.
