I ended up landing a massive 19.5-inch Largemouth Bass and a hard-fighting Shovelhead (Flathead Catfish) all on artificial lures.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bWith tournament pressure high on the lake, I had to slow down and go with a stealthy approach to trigger these bigger bites.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b\ud83c\udfa3 Lures Used:<\/p>\n<p>\u200bThe &#8220;Silent Killer&#8221;: Strike King KVD 1.5 Silent Squarebill (Shad Pattern)<\/p>\n<p>\u200bThe Backup: Black and Blue Swimbait<\/p>\n<p>\u200b\ud83d\udccd Location: East Fork State Park (William H. Harsha Lake), Ohio &#8211; North Shore area.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udf2c\ufe0f Conditions: Sunny\/Partly Cloudy, 70\u00b0F, Southwest winds.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bIf you\u2019re fishing pressured Ohio reservoirs, sometimes silence is the key. While other boats were running loud rattles, the silent square bill tucked right into the shallow cover was what triggered this 19.5&#8243; kicker.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bCheck out the fight and the release!
