We started our trip off doing some sight fishing, but when the wind picked up and the fish became hard to see, were moved offshore to find some big bass feeding up on deep water grass points.  We used a variety of shad style baits to target these pre and post spawn bass that were staging on the points and ambushing schools of shad.  The water was in the mid 60&#8217;s, and with the high winds, the bass turned on to feed in the afternoon.
