Bass Fishing Early Fall in Shallow Water

After a struggle on the lake on evening, I decide to go back and pt my time in to figure out the pattern and redeem myself. It’s a fall day, the water is cooling and there are bass in different areas on the lake but the main pattern was fishing points. Secondary and main lake points were the most productive

BAITS USED
Square billed crank baits were a main factor for chunking and winding to find fish and target cover as well
Jackall ASKA 50- Chartreuse Black Back
Jackall D Cherry- Chartreuse Blue Back
LFT Lures Square Bill- Green Shad

SOFT PLASTICS
For flipping into the heavy thick cover I chose a tube because of it’s ease coming through cover and erratic action.
Mizmo 3/12 inch PB&J
LFT Lures Black and Blue Craw Tube

  1. Nice video bro! I recently started uploading my fishing vids on my channel. It's nothing special yet. I'm a Combat Veteran fish with a lot of Active Duty and Veterans. It helps a hell of a lot with PTSD. Like I said, I'm just staring out. Mostly fishing and a little whiskey. Lol I like to throw a little humor in there as well. Any advise you can give me would be bad ass. Keep putting up the inspiring videos and keep Breakin' jaws bro! 👊🏽🍻

  2. What's up my name is Jacob and I'm started a new YouTube channel and I was trying to thing of a username and I came up with lakechickguy and I'm sorry if it's to the same but is it ok if I keep this as my username

  3. I'm interested to find out why you don't throw too many top water baits? I see you throwing a lot jig (or sinking baits) early on.

That early morning shot of the water screams walk the dog to me… Over here in South Africa I've had great luck with walk the dog and buzz bait early morning, even as the water temp drops leading to winter.

  4. hey justin , whats the gear ratio on the citica u used for the cranks? can i get away with the 7.1 and reel slower..so i can use the same reel for other set ups..?

  5. Been watching your vids for a while finally sub'd. Awesome video as normal, really impressed with your fishing, editing and camera work.  I just started making a few videos of my own on Florida Lakes. Its a lot of work lol!Just curious what kind of water temps you guys are seeing in your part of Texas? I know in a lot of areas Texas and Florida fish very much alike. I have been slowly starting to catch them on Jerkbaits, but its not quite cold enough. I got skunked last weekend, but going out again this weekend for redemption, I hope. Sub me back if you get a chance. Thanks!

  6. As a Multi-Species angler and scientist, one of the things that I LOVE about your Channel+videos is your "Ichthyology" section. Very informative. Accurate. Educational. Love it. Keep the vids coming, man! Tight lines!
